In 2003 I became member of SAMA
( Society of American Mosaics Artist). Late that year
one of my artworks, "Poppies in the wind",
has been selected for the "Fragment of Truth"
exhibition held in San Francisco at the Italian American
Museum from January 14th through April 14th 2004.
Also, one of my works, " Creation of Life",
became part of the AMP (American Mosaic Project) exhibition
sponsored by SAMA. The first AMP exhibition has been
held at the County Fine Art Center in Orangeburg,
SC from July 10th through August 31st, 2004. Then,
the AMP exhibition was held in Irvine, TX and in Washington
DC. From March through May 2006 my "Creation
of Life" piece has been in Chicago, IL where
the AMP was host.
In 2005 (January-March) I have participated with
fair success to the "Celebration
of Fine Art" exhibition in Scottsdale, AZ
where I exhibited from January through March 2006
also.
In 2006, one of my last creations, the"Iris",
has been selected for the SAMA exhibition that has
been held at the High Risk Gallery in Chicago in March
2006.
In 2007, my "Tree of Life" has been one
of the artworks selected for the SAMA Exhibition held
in April at the Contemporary Art Museum in Mesa, AZ.
Since 2006 I have started again to paint as a complement
to mosaic.
My mosaic compositions that you can see in the Gallery
are born from my soul and are inspired by what Mother
Nature brings to my eyes. Classic Mediterranean motifs
are among my most inspirational sources. I cannot
stop creating this style. Also, I adore beautiful
flowers and animals that can often be seen in my artworks.
Arizona living has challanged me with creating new
styles in the south west and Native American style
mosaic. These new designs have been accepted with
success.
Beside my personalized creations, I can work upon
request on classic artistic mosaic and modern artistic
mosaic, as well as customized design mosaic for interior
and exterior application. My range of artworks includes
tables, floor medallions, murals, fireplace, garden
and swimming pool decorative elements. All my artwork
are made of either Italian marble tesserae, venetian
enamels, virtreous glass, porcelain and ceramic tiles
or a combination of them.
Please do not hesitate to contact
me for any inquiry you may have.
Thank you for your interest in my work.
